In 2017, we introduced the e-chain dispenser, a complete solution for a partially automated shore power supply system . This project-specific special solution was individually adapted to the requirements of the respective harbour and required an optimised new design for each new application.
Based on this idea and the experiences in the area of shore power supply, we basically redesigned the e-dispenser. The result is a modular system that can be used flexibly for various applications in the medium and low voltage range.
The new e-dispenser module can be variably combined with different components - e.g. with cranes, stationary structures or mobile transfer systems. This results in individually tailored energy supply solutions that can be efficiently adapted to specific project requirements.

The visual shows a 3D animated representation of the energy supply of the e-dispenser: by using the energy chain, the cables are protected from sagging and damage as well as from impairment by UV radiation.

The e-dispenser 2.0 is the next generation of the high-performance conveyor unit for the TRHD.142.300.0 and impresses with maximum flexibility and safety. Whether in existing customer structures or in the proven igus dispenser solutions - the system can be integrated seamlessly.

Thanks to the e-dispenser, the TRHD.142 with charging connector is lowered safely and conveniently onto the vehicle to be charged - whether on land or on board.

For even higher loads, the TRHD.142.300.0 offers more than twice the breaking force of the next smaller 125 size - ideal for demanding applications with the highest safety requirements.

How it works:

Extending the energy chain:
The energy chain is moved from the shore to the ship to establish the power connection.
Power connection:
The cables in the chain are connected to the ship via a junction box and connector.
Stable supply:
While the ship is in port, the chain remains in position and reliably supplies it with shore power.
Return:
After depositing, the energy chain is retracted automatically or manually.
