iglidur AX500 is a further development of iglidur A500, which was able to operate continuously for a long time. What is special about AX500 is that it is a conductive material. In addition, AX500 has an even lower coefficient of wear than its predecessor. The material was specially developed for the food industry and can therefore be used in contact with food products.
In the test, the wear of iglidur A500 and iglidur AX500 was investigated in a rotation test, p= 1 MPa, v= 0.3 m/s.
