Problem

XL-Automaten, a pioneer in the field of innovative vending machine technology, offers a comprehensive portfolio of speciality vending machines for a wide range of industries. The company is known for its customer-orientated design and flexible application options. The vending machines have to work reliably in sometimes extreme climatic conditions – whether it is the 24-hour use of an ice cream vending machine in sub-zero temperatures or the precise dispensing of technical equipment in office buildings. Added to this are requirements such as low maintenance, high energy efficiency and adaptability to the specific location.

CEO Markus Fograscher emphasises: "Our products have to withstand extreme conditions. We build vending machines that last – and last well." In order to fulfil these promises, XL-Automaten was looking for moving components that are both durable and easy to install, yet do not require regular maintenance.     The dryspin lead screws and flanged lead screw nuts take over the movements in the lift systems of the vending machines. Thanks to self-lubrication, they significantly reduce maintenance costs and offer smooth movements, even under continuous load.
  3. igubal spherical bearings
    igubal flange mounted bearings guarantee stability and smooth movements under extreme conditions, such as freezing temperatures down to -22°C. They are not only robust, but also durable and maintenance-free.
  4. Energy chains
    The modular series 05 energy chains ensure a reliable power supply for electrical components such as light barriers and offer quick customisation options for different vending machine requirements.

XL-Automaten has been using these components successfully for over a decade, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the vending machines. "We still use the same components that we selected ten years ago today because they have simply proved their worth," confirms Fograscher.
